Played with a bassist in an orchestra that had a 5 string Music Man Sting Ray plugged into this little amp and it sounded wonderful. Also has an option to add a bigger speaker or extension speaker when needed. Only downside is that while the amp itself is small in size, it is a bit on the heavy side.
