100 metre mains cable run ... um????

Hi there.

I've been asked to supply a small vocal PA for a sports event. There is only one genny and the PA is required about 100 metres from the genny. Apart from the H&S issues, what practical issues arise when running mains power over such a long distance.

Thanks for any advice you can give. Also, I've already questioned the feasibility of this arrangement with the client but any advice from you clever noise boys would be great.
