Pianoteq has always modelled the physical behaviour of a piano better than any other piano VST on the market, and has therefore always been more playable than most of the competition, but its basic piano tone did lack a certain something. It sounded too metallic, cold and synthetic and didn't contain enough 'wood'.
As far as I'm concerned, that problem has now been solved. It's just a joy to play. Amazingly responsive and the basic piano tone easily matches that of, say, the Steinway in Ivory II. Quite an astonishing technological feat. I might sell my beloved Bluthner upright...
