Replacing driver in VXT8

Postby crazy_ow » Sun Dec 02, 2012 2:39 pm

A couple of weeks ago I had a visiting engineer in the studio who got a bit over excited with a mix and turned it up way too loud which has damaged the driver in one of my VXT8's. Its not torn but as soon as I put something bass heavy on it flaps about and doesn't sound good! So I figure i need to replace the driver!

The problem I have got is I took the monitor apart last week but the driver wont come out its glued in! Has anyone else has to replace the driver in a VXT8? If so how did you free the driver?
