I'm a little confused, do you mean purely audio or video (I was slightly thrown by the reference to HD (?)
David Dean at Westpoint Television seems to be able to handle just about any video format, he specializes in archive material. He may be able to help with archive audio formats as well. You can contact him on 020 8732 3400 Mob 07973 282 754.

As I recall, this is a 12 track analog audio tape format.

Hi Tim, Brian,
Thanks for your replies.
Sorry, i should have been more specific.
by HD i meant Hard Drive
This is purely audio, from 12 track analog.

Steve Puntolillo? He's the New York equivalent of FX Copyroom.

I must admit I'm sometimes tempted to get and Akai machine myself just for situations like this. If you are really desparate I can probably extract some audio from the tape but it won't be ideal as I'd be doing it with a head designed for 16 track tapes.
