opinions on this song please?

Hello

Hope this is the right place to put this! The forum's been a little shaken up!

Here's a song of mine, would love to get some feedback on the mix/production, or even just the song itself!

A bit of pendantry:

The backing vocals at 0'53 sound flat to my ears.
The transistion at 2'23 sounds odd to me too.

Other than that, I enjoyed the track!

nice tune.

Think the production is a bit messy (and yes - I get the lo-fi approach BUT it's got such a clean sound! ). Good track but needs a bit of massaging in the mix....

+1 For the comments from Neokoenig. The vox sound a bit flat generally in other sections too. Also a bit 'boxy' in parts though this could be due, in part, to the compression process.

The Caribbean vibe in the section towards the end doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the track.

Overall, I think it's a pleasant enough 'ditty' though may not attract a lot of attention given the recent (and possibly more distinct sounding) output from the likes of Mumford & Son. Indeed, there is a danger of being classed as a bandwagon jumper!!

My tuppence,

P
