focusrite VRM box ,real thing or a toy ?

Looks like something to have around the studio , or is it just another amateur home recorder item.

Anybody got one and finds it handy ,helpfull or even indispensable?

I'd say it's not a perfect solution to the problem of headphone monitoring, but it is helpful when used appropriately.
