FM effect / plugin

I'm thinking of an effect / plugin that accentuates the 2nd and 4th harmonic (fifth and third up respectively) - almost like a frequency modulator type. Does this thing exist? Can anyone recommend anything good? Thank you

There are various tube/valve type enhancer plugin that let you vary 2nd, 3rd, 4th harmonic distortion individually to your taste using sliders.

I can't remember any names offhand, but when I do I'll post them here

There's one on the tip of my tongue right now - I'm sure it's got something to do with Brazil

Oh, another senior moment

It's good to see you wax lyrical about a plugin.

Does it shave a little off the bottom end, though?

Ho ho ho!

I've just remembered what it was - the freeware Christortion by Christian Budde, and the reason for me thinking Brazil will become apparent when you see the GUI (think Rio de Janeiro):

You can download it here: www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/VST/Christortion.zip

Largely, but not entirely, dysfunctional.
