A quick question for Samson S-Patch Plus patchbay owners....

Hi all

I've just bought a couple of these secondhand and wanted to check something out. How recessed are the front panel switches on yours? Do they stick out much? Are they easy to slide across?

On mine, you have to get your finger nail in there to slide the switch across. The tip of the switch is almost flush to the front face of the panel.

Just wondered of that's the same on all units?

Many thanks

I've got a few of these. The switches stick out a little bit. Not very much, a millimetre or two, but enough to make it easy to use your fingernail to slide them. You don't have to get your fingernail 'in there', ie. inside the groove where they are located, to slide them.

But it is a fingernail job, you can't use your finger.

Yes, that's as they should be.

Nice one - thanks for the clarification. Nice to know mine are as they should be....

@Scramble - yep, what you describe sounds the same as mine.

On another note, I'm quite keen on checking the bays to make sure all the connections are ok and working as they should. Can anyone recommend the best way of going about this?

Cheers
