Think of the kudos. To have had a singer in your studio who has worked with somebody who has worked with Liberty X !!

I once brushed up against a guy who shook Nelson Mandelas hand, I haven't bathed since...

Sure, I'll give them free studio time, but *my* time they'd have to pay for!!

As a procrastinating time waster I always lose out on these jobs. Shame.

Chap, it's not time wasters this individual is objecting to but timewaisters (easy mistake to make, granted).
I believe it's akin to shouldering electronic components or heeling the sick. Eye may be wrong.

I find time to be more pyramid shaped rather than waisted.

Mmm... that would make timewaisting a pretty specialised skill. It seems only Stephen Hawking and Tom Baker need not apply.

Haha, awesome, I've a studio in West Yorkshire, hell the SSL does simultaneously produce heating aswell as eating electricity and I don't mind not eating or paying my rent. Sure. I'll bite.

Actually it would be kind interesting to be one of those time wasters. Would anyone care to join me in offering studio time, just to cancel later?

I think I have the perfect match!

I'll offer time in the studio I haven't got for the money he isn't going to pay.

OK, I'll do it. I'll just ask you to sign this little agreement up front that since I'm putting in all the effort while you get a few fun pamper days living the dream, you're cool about me getting 100% of your lifetime income thereafter.

Fair enough?

I know a phot studio that will give you free time, they have also worked with the stars, they will charge for every photo and digital copy tho!!!

The worst thing about our industry is that someone will give free time then we wonder why our industry makes no money!

He can have some free time at my studio -- I need some cleaning done, and I'm prepared to let him do this for free.

A friend of mine recently received the following email (admittedly in relation to filmaking as opposed to music but the underlying issue is the same): "Hi, I've seen your advert. Is it normally paid work that you do?"

The person who posted the original ad sounds like a timewaster themselves, they can't even spell it. Their so-called CV also seems to suggest that they haven't done any music since about 2000!

For you, Ryan, sure!

But you pay for the coffee and buns I'll be consuming down at the mall, eh?
