Eobody2 usb8m sensor box with Max

Postby Matthew Perryman » Tue Feb 19, 2013 7:00 pm

I'm working on a Masters project, and I want to use the Eobody2 usb8m sensor box with Max. The problem is that my Mac, and in fact the macs at my university, including my lecturer's, won't recgonise the sensor box at all. The instructions say that the computer should recognise it as a midi device as soon as it's plugged in, and there's no need for a driver, but it's just not working. I don't think it's a problem with the box, as I've actually tried two different ones, with the same result. Not the cable either, as I'm using cables I know work with other devices.

The Eowave website is really unhelpful. There does seem to be an 'eowave editor' software that might act as a sort of driver (as mentioned in the manual), but it doesn't exist on their website.

Can anyone help?
