UAD 64 BIT PLUGS

YES! UAD have released version 6.4 with 64 bit plugs for PC users. I can finally use them again without my intermittent bit bridge.

About time.

Oh yeah. My UAD card no longer fits in my computer.

So I have no access to my UAD plugs. Which I really like. A lot.

*Sigh*.

Edit: Oh wait. No Mac 64-bit plugins. Windows only... pooh - who uses Windows these days..?

I've read on the Cakewalk forum that UAD will only officially support Cubase and PT.

If so, how illogical.

So even with MAC installers coming in December, only two programs supported on that platform?

version 6.3 doesn't actually work on Sonar x2 win 7 64bit, so I don't know if I can go to 6.4.I'll have to get some feedback at the cakewalk forum.

Do people still actually use Cakewalk?

Yeah, that was a bit of a weird statement.

I can't help thinking it's a slightly clunkily worded note about the current PC 64-bit release, rather than a general statement, as they seem to have found the 64-bit transition process extrememly difficult and they aren't quite there yet.

They just call it the "cakewalk forum", it's a legacy thing. Sonar X2 is the current incarnation, no one mentions cakewalk.

Unless they're a fans of Debussy, then no one mentions the "Gollywog's Cakewalk".
