Big mono redux is killing my PC

Postby Richard Graham » Fri Feb 15, 2013 9:27 pm

Alright, so the PC in question is only a dual core Athlon 64 running XP on 4gb ram (don't laugh). But it runs steve slate drums EX and NI Abbey Road 60s without a hitch. The thing is, Big Mono Redux seems to run a really high voice count in Kontakt 4... Up in the 200s, even with only kick and snare going. Is this because of all the mic positions? Do I need to buy a new PC?

Update (not a bump, honest!). Dylan from Analog Drums has offered to tweak Big Mono Redux, just for me and my under-specced PC!!! Unbelievable level of service. Outstanding. Props to Dylan and to Analog Drums.
