Who is going to Sounds Expo?

Postby Martin Walker » Wed Mar 30, 2005 2:01 pm

Who's going to pay a visit to the Sounds Expo show at Wembley Exhibition Centre from 14th to 16th April then?

I'll be there for all three days helping to man the SOS stand, and I'm hoping to put quite a few faces to forum pseudonyms.

So don't be shy - come and say hello!

And if you want to be friendly but keep your anonymity, wear a paper bag over your head

I'll be there with the rest of the Arbiter MT Team on our stand. We'll be travelling a whole three miles to get to Wembley!

What a pity, I'll be in Plymouth in The Pavilion. Not that far from where you live I believe.

Would like to meet sometime though and would like to say thanks for all your advice which has saved me more than a few times.

Have a nice time in London. What a great city.

That's an excellent start!

Laurence - looking forward to meeting polly in particular - this should help me recognise you

So far, Kevin has the shortest journey, and Compuphonic's is probably the longest (my total journey time is about five hours to Wembley, so I dread to think what yours must be - you'll probably need a lie down when you get there )

stony - what a shame that you'll be in Cornwall almost the one time I'm not

Aural Reject - Community Forum? What's that? Oh, you mean the place where folk hang out to say rude words and argue with each other
No, I was specifically interested in which of those mild-mannered and genteel PC Music Forum users would be gracing Sounds Expo with their presence

No-one going to wear a bag on their head then?

I just had a look at the registration page for the sounds expo and it seems like you have to be in the industry proper as it were. Is this true? What about me, a lowly music tech student?

Mook & Will - I promise not to tell on you

Matt - I'll make sure you don't spend anything - just leave your wallet with me

Baldo - ah, shucks

I won't be about for several days now, as I'm flying off to Frankfurt for the Musikmesse tomorrow to see all the new goodies at Europe's largest music show.

See you all at Sounds Expo then!
