AAF files in DP8

Postby Bogmusic » Wed May 08, 2013 7:25 pm

Hi guys

I received an ipad mini as a gift and have installed auria (very nice little iOS multitracker) which can import / export AAF files. I would love to be able to transfer mobile projects to DP8 (and back sometimes).

Does anyone have any experiences or tips on using AAF files with DIgital Performer. I am assuming that I would be transferring unprocessed audio tracks to keep keep things simple and using the native plugins at each end (maybe permanently sitting in aux busses)

Any help welcome as I have no experience with AAF files.

Regards
Simon

OK
Looks like the weekend is nearly here and no warnings or tips have appeared
Trial and error it is then - I will report back here with results

I haven't had a chance to try out DP8 yet in conjunction with AAF files. I remember having issues with 7.24 not being capable of opening them about a year ago and had to choose OMF instead. Not a lot of help, I know... do post your findings though!

Just a piano and some sketch paper please...
