Unitor 8 mk1 drivers

Does anyone have a copy of the Unitor 8 mk1 Windows 98 drivers. Went and deleted mine ages ago thinking I would never need them. Now I can't find anything on the web. :-(

About 15 seconds with Google:

I'm assuming those are the ones you will need, you'll use be using the serial parts rather than the USB parts. If not, I'm sure they will be around the net with a little bit of effort...

I also found loads of places with the later 2.5 driver and reports that 2.5 works with Unitor MK1's just fine. So they should all be easily available.

I think the XP drivers should also work fine with Win98. Wow... Win98... that must be like driving a Model-T around, eh..?

Driving a Model-T, tell me about it!

My mate uses an old copy of Cubase vst that only seems to run on Win 98. The 98 pc connects via midi to his hardware sampler and synths, as well as to his Win7 pc running NI Komplete. Proper old school.

Cheers for the link. Hope those drivers work on 98. I seem to recall there being different drivers for 98 and 2000 but I could be wrong. Fingers crossed.

What's to laugh at. I'm still running my 4 Unitor 8's.
A Mk 1 at one end, serial into a PC running XP, and a Mk 2 at the other end, USB into a Mac Mini.
Best of both worlds.

I hear they're now trying to turn our beloved M1's and Wavestations into software and run them on our computers like they were real instruments!!! Whatever next. It'll never catch on.

Hi Windows XP SP1. Use Logic 5.5. Had no problems with this setup. Also have Win7 and use
Reaper and midi them together by a motu 828II.

If it ain't broke....
