New Synton synth

So, from the original Synton Syrinx developers, they have something interesting:

Not only a velocity keyboard, but also *side-to-side modulation* (ie, key wiggle!), like a very few other instruments have had, and I personally *love*...

Directly controlling the vibrato from the playing finger is *wonderful* for expression...

Edit: *And* vertical slide modulation as well...

Looks like they are interested in making a MIDI controller with this key control, which would be very cool...

And this is polyphonic expression 8-)

Now THAT is an interesting development desmond - love it!

What a top chap! It's so pleasing to see someone show up to a show with a great idea and ask the synth buying public what they think. And I have to agree with what he says - the SeaBoard is interesting, but it's not a keyboard. It's a controller in the shape of a keyboard. I really hope he builds his new controller keyboard.

I agree; it looks the absolute dog's danglies... but it will all hinge in cost.
