BMC to host UK premiere of Roland Aira products

Brighton Music Conference 2014Brighton Music Conference 2014Brighton Music Conference, taking place April 11 & 12 2014, will host the UK premiere of Roland’s highly anticipated new Aira instrument line. The Aira line features four exciting products, and includes the reimagining of three of electronic music’s most fundamental machines, the Roland TR-808 drum machine, the Roland TR-909 drum machine, and the Roland TB-303 Bass Line synthesizer.

At BMC exclusively, attendees will be able to get hands on with the new 808 and 909, which has been merged into one machine called the TR-8. The TB-303, rebuilt into a new machine called the TR-3, will also be available at BMC, as will a new vocal transformer called the Roland VT-3 and a new 25 note synthesizer / controller hybrid called the System 1.

BMC is the UK’s first electronic music business conference, and is backed by leading industry bodies including Beatport, Native Instruments, Pioneer, Ableton, Sennheiser, Mixcloud, PRS For Music, Funktion-One, Point Blank, and Spotify. The conference is jointly focused on business and education, with business leaders due to debate eight key issues currently affecting the industry, whilst aspiring DJs, producers and electronic music fans will be able to attend 38 seminars, workshops, artist Q&As, and technology demonstrations for just £12.

At night, a series of BMC club nights and parties will take place at clubs across Brighton, including showcases from some of Europe’s most respected underground labels and nights including Wiggle, LOST, Mobilee Records, J00F, Black Rock Records, and SKINT.

The event at the Brighton Dome will be the first chance that UK producers and DJs have to get hands on with all four of Roland’s amazing new instruments.
