Create suspenseful soundtracks with Rise & Hit from NI

New cinematic tension toolkit released

Native Instruments Rise & HitBerlin-based Native Instruments are calling Rise & Hit the first instrument designed uniquely for expressive build-ups. Their new instrument comprises over 8GB of samples covering a wide variety of sources. There are samples from a 66-piece orchestra, scratched cymbals, orchestral percussion, mangled field recordings, and all manner swooshes and sound effects. In total, there are over 700 single-layer and 250 multi-layer sounds available.

Sounds can be time stretched wildly without losing quality, claim NI, thanks to multiple sample lengths. Rise & Hit is also designed to help you find the sound you’re looking for quickly, then provide the tools to layer, edit and process quickly. The built-in effects include reverb, delay, 26 custom filters, and 29 spatial, dynamic and distortion effects. All parameters can also be automated using the internal modulation engine for extra flexibility.

Compatible with Kontakt 5 and Kontakt 5 Player, Rise & Hit is available now for £129.
