Gary Barlow, one of the UK’s most successful and prolific songwriters (and long-time SOS supporter) has recorded a series of films that give an unique ‘behind the scenes’ insight on how he writes his songs. Gary will show the first in the series entitled ‘Inside the Music’ at the store event next Thursday. He’ll also be bringing along his home studio set-up to demonstrate how he writes on Logic Pro X and play an exclusive snippet of a new song he is currently working on.
Unfortunately, the event is already fully booked as of writing, but keep an eye out for the five-part series.
From his initial inspiration to the production and performance, Gary will cover all aspects of the songwriting process and share his methods and techniques with the audience. He will also discuss his motives for recording the films and share stories from his incredible three-decade long musical career.
Gary is one of Britain's most successful songwriters, having written fifteen number one singles and twenty-four top 10 hits. He has had three number one singles, six top 10 singles and two number one albums as a solo artist, and has had seventeen top 5 hits, twelve number one singles and seven number one albums with Take That. He is also a six-time recipient of the Ivor Novello Award and has sold over 50 million records worldwide.
