A home for keyboards in the Tech Music stable
Keyboardtech is the latest school in the UK-based Tech Music group of music performance colleges, which comprises Drumtech, Vocaltech and Guitar-X. Launched to serve the “surge in young keyboard/piano students who want to emulate the new indie/electro set”, the college offers a range of courses, from three-month certificates to three-year music degrees.
Students on Keyboardtech’s courses will have access to facilities equipped with state-of-the-art Korg gear, with tuition from accomplished professional musicians who have played with the likes of Elton John, Jamiroquai and Mariah Carey.
On the school’s teaching approach, Tech Music founder Francis Seriau comments “we teach our students how to survive on the outside”, giving them skills to take on real-world situations.
