JZ Custom ShopJZ Microphones, the Latvian company that brought us the Vintage 11, reviewed by Paul White in January last year, have announced an online Custom Shop for their microphones in celebration of their fifth anniversary. Users can select their preferred capsule, including JZ's takes on AKG's C12 and Neumann's U47 and U67, as well as take their pick of microphone body and mesh colours. JZ say that there are over 500 possible combinations and that anyone can order their custom microphone in under five minutes.
Custom engraving is also available and you can preview your custom microphone online using their rather neat website.
Prices vary depending on the combination of components chosen and JZ claim that orders from the Custom Shop will be shipped anywhere in the world within 14 days.
