Thermionic Culture’s Culture Vulture valve-distortion (reviewed in SOS August 2003) has been well recieved, and is famously used by Liam Howlett of Prodigy fame. For it’s 11th anniversary, the model has been upgraded with Mullard valves (new-old-stock British valves, considered by many to be the best ever created) and a 10 position distortion selecter, as opposed to the original 3 position switch. The 11th anniversary edition will be priced between the standard and mastering models, and will be available soon.
A handful of new music technology products were launched at the London International Music Show in June 2009, but we managed to find time to capture them on video in between running the daily SOS seminars!
