PRESS RELEASE: London based audio college Alchemea are hosting a series of exclusive live sound master-classes featuring some of the top names in contemporary live sound production.
On Tuesday 28th June Jon Burton (The Prodigy, Pendulum, Mika, The Stereophonics, Radiohead) will be talking about his approach to sound-checking and mixing a live show. Jon's extensive work in the world's top venues and on all the major music television shows mean that this is a learning opportunity not to be missed!
Wednesday 29th June will see live engineer extraordinaire and published author Dave Swallow (Amy Winehouse, Seasick Steve, Corinne Bailey Rae, La Roux) give a presentation about 'the art of mixing a show'. Dave will talk about the creative aspects of mixing in the morning and explore technical and system based aspects in the afternoon session.
Time will be allocated for numerous Q&A sessions during bothsessions so attendees will also have the chance to pick the brains of the cream of the industry.
