Alchemea Presents "Sound On Sound Studio Sessions" - Friday 11th May

Meet the experts, check out the latest equipment & prizes to be won

Alchemea College are set to host the "Sound On Sound Studio Sessions” on Friday 11th May, which will feature SOS's Editor In Chief Paul White and Technical Editor Hugh Robjohns. “SOS Live” is aimed at anyone with an interest in music production, and in particular is suited for home recording enthusiasts, studio owners and freelance engineers and producers.

Over the course of the day attendees will be treated to four engaging seminars, two of which will feature Paul & Hugh. These will be complemented by presentations by Gary Bromham, who has worked with some of the top names in pop music, including Tina Turner, Sheryl Crowe and Bjork. As well as being a highly successful producer, engineer and songwriter, Gary is also an Avid Certified Instructor, and is one of only three Apple-selected Distinguished Professionals in the UK.

There will also be another high profile producer who will be announced shortly.

Check Out the Latest Studio Equipment
Attendees will have the opportunity to get their hands on a range of newly released equipment during the seminar breaks. These will include UAD’s Apollo interface, the Arturia Minibrute and Moog’s Minataur Bass synthesizer. More manufacturers will also be announced shortly. The Music Producers Guild will also be on hand to discuss the benefits of membership, and Sound On Sound's very own Paul White and Hugh Robjohns will be available for expert help and advice. Sample Magic will also be on hand to sell signed copies of Paul White’s latest book, 'The Producer Manual', as well as sample packs, which will all be offered at a reduced price.

Prizes Draw
Attendees will be entered into a draw to win the following (TBC):

First Prize: £800 training vouchers from Alchemea, 12 months SOS subscription, Paul White’s Producer Manual, two Sample Magic DVDs, one year's Music Producer Guild (MPG) associate membership, and finally Arturia: The One.

Second Prize: £500 Alchemea training voucher, 12 months SOS subscription, Paul White’s Producer Manual and Sample Magic DVD.

Third Prize: £200 Alchemea training voucher, 12 months SOS subscription and Paul White's Producer Manual. 

Ticket Price
Tickets are on sale at £18 (£12 to Sound On Sound Subscribers), and can be purchased through Alchemea’s website. Space is strictly limited and we envisage that demand for this event will be high so please book soon to avoid disappointment. Refreshments will be included throughout the day, as well as lunch from the famous local Italian Delhi 'Saponara' and a couple of post event beverages (lager and wine).
