SSR present 'Reactable Experience'

Showcase at SSR London, Camden on 19th June 2012

Press Release: SSR is proud to announce the ‘Reactable Experience’ at SSR London, Camden, on Tuesday 19th June 2012 at 6pm. During this UK exclusive event, the team behind the Reactable will be showcasing the ‘Reactable Live!’ instrument in full, with demonstrations and performance from Reactable’s Sergi Jordà.

The Reactable is a revolutionary electronic musical instrument that turns music making into something tangible and visual. The ‘Live!’ version of the instrument allows you to touch and see the music while performing.

The different sound generation and manipulation modules, which are real physical objects, permit infinite flexibility and control in musical expression. Exploring and using modern techniques of music production has never been done this way before.

Since its initial presentation in 2005 the Reactable has been internationally acclaimed and received many worldwide awards. It is also being used by top-end musicians such as Björk, who successfully used it on stage during her last Volta world tour.

During the ‘Reactable Experience’ at SSR London, attendees will be able to see a Reactable performance up close and also get hands-on with the instrument themselves. There will also be a Q&A session and tips on incorporating the Reactable Live! or Reactable’s software ‘apps’ in music production or live performances.

The ‘Reactable Experience’ event is completely free to attend, however guests will need to register a place via the SSR website: www.s-s-r.com/reactable.
