Alchemea partner with Anglia Ruskin University to provide 'fast track' degree

Press Release: London based audio college Alchemea have partnered with Anglia Ruskin University to provide their Studio Sound Diploma graduates with a degree pathway. Any student that has passed Alchemea’s Diploma in Studio Sound Engineering since 2007 may be eligible to enrol on to year 2 of Anglia Ruskin’s (BSc Hons) Degree in Audio and Music Technology.

Based in the prestigious University town of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin is seen as one of the leading providers of vocational and workplace focused Degree programmes. Anglia Ruskin’s Department of Computing & Technology are currently building a new cutting edge recording studio complex which will be ready for their next degree intake in October.

Alchemea’s Mike Sinnott explains: “In our first meeting with Anglia Ruskin’s development team it quickly became apparent that we shared a similar vision as well as a passion for providing a high quality of employment focused audio education. While the majority of our students will enter the workplace, it is very exciting that graduates wishing to take their academic learning further now have a clear pathway onto a high quality Degree programme in Cambridge”.
