Tape Camp at Chairworks Studios 17th-18th August

Spend a weekend recording to tape at a pro studio!

Press Release: Follow an analogue tape based recording session from beginning to final mix. Learn the basics of tape alignment & recording levels in the analogue domain. Then get involved as the session tracks a live band and follow the process from recording, overdubbing and mixing.Tape CampTape Camp

The session will be helmed by master audio engineer Simon Humphrey who has been on the buttons for many great acts including The Clash, Abba, Marc Bolan, Smokie, Hans Zimmer, Culture Club and many more!

Learn tips on flying in, tape delays, phasing, flanging & many more. The session will be on The Chairworks host of Analogue gear including Studer A80 16track, 2track & 24Track Otari Machines. 48 Channel SSL Console and a host of outboard gear.
