Summer NAMM 2014: PhasX Shadocaster

Studio Monitors with nearfield scattering

Florida-based acoustics firm PhasX Technologies have an unusual approach to monitor design. The idea behind their uniquely-shaped speakers is to scatter sound waves travelling towards the desktop, preventing nearfield reflections and problems associated with them. According to Gavin Washburn, PhasX Director of Sales, the design also negates any requirement for acoustic treatment in your listening environment.
