What is the Web Subscription?

The SOS Web service provides exclusive online access to complete web versions of the entire editorial content of Sound On Sound, usually the day the print magazine goes on sale in the UK.

These HTML-format electronic pages are delivered over the Internet in the English language to registered subscribers, for viewing within a browser — Note: The Web pages for each month's issue are NOT available in any stuffed or zipped format for bulk downloading.

SOS Web pages contain the full text of the article, header photo and additional images/diagrams where published. Screen-captures and diagrams are generally shown small on the screen, for speed and convenience, but clicking on most images will open a larger more detailed view in a new browser window.

Can I save/print Web articles?

Yes. You can save the article files locally on to your hard drive and read off-line or print them for personal use only. Distribution of the saved files and printouts is strictly forbidden as is re-publication of any of the copyright work.TIP: Always select Print Background option when printing, otherwise white text out of coloured boxes may not be visible.

I already subscribe to the Print / Tablet edition. How much will a Web Subscription cost me?

If you already subscribe to the Print magazine or Tablet edition of Sound On Sound, the good news is that we offer you a great discount on the usual Web Subscription price.

Contact our Subscriptions Department via email and include your full name and postal address to help them locate your account. They will check how many issues remain for your current subscription and calculate the additional Web Subscription price for you. That way, both your Print / Tablet and Web subscription will be in sync and renew at the same time in the future. Email subs-upgrade@soundonsound.com

I am NOT a magazine subscriber. How much will a Web Subscription cost me?

If you are not a Print or Tablet subscriber, do not worry, you can buy just a Web subscription or any combination of Web, Print and Tablet subscription that suits you. For the Web Subscription, we give you instant access to the previous 5 months of locked 'subscriber only' content, so your 12 month subscription gives you a bonus 5 months of back issue content - 17 months for the price of 12.
