haha shingles i like your list there, i could add another 5 lines to it. I'm going the same way myself having reached the end of my tether with software like Kontakt and various plugins. I recently switched off all the plugins and bought more hands on high quality pedals like Eventide Timefactor and Moogerfoogers to run gear through, and the experience has been liberating. I'm considering moving to a fully hardware setup (ironically what I moved away from around 1995), since hardware just gets straight to the music without you feeling like your doing insurance spreadsheets and fighting bill gates.

If i had the choice I'd buy a Korg Oasys and be done with the computer altogether but at £5k it's a leap of faith!
