iTunes Alternative that includes Loudness Normalisation?

Postby Guest » Thu Sep 13, 2018 5:06 am

Hi All

Classic long time lurker, few time poster here.

I've been searching for iTunes alternatives.
I suspect I don't need to explain why that might be.
But what I do find particularly useful in iTunes when playing playlists of mixed music and such is the loudness normalisation applied by soundcheck.
And as yet I can't find any playback software that has has any similar loudness normalisation scheme.

Does anyone know any?
Thank

I'm only aware of the streaming services really. I did have a look to see if Googleplay had the option but i couldn't find anything.

I've just noticed that the default music player on my Samsung phone has this - there's a check box tucked away near the bottom of the settings list.
