Saturation for Sub and 808

Postby calmposer a » Wed Jan 23, 2019 8:36 pm

Hi

Saturating low end is always difficult, plugins that seem to work are the ones separating the signal into bands, so that the very lows (say 60Hz and down) stay untouched. Softube Saturation Knob is good, also Fabfilter Saturn. Can anyone recommend other plugins that can do that?

Thanks! :headbang:

I've recently been playing/digging around for different saturation plugins. As well as the two you mention, SoundToys' Decapitator and Izotope's Alloy both seem to be well reviewed and have a separate 'low' control of some form.
I ended up using a Toneboosters one because I already had it in my system.
