If you were thinking of getting u-he's (excellent) Diva or Repro plugins, now is a good time.

NI is having a 50% off sale:
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/komplete/u-he-offer-2019/#c910821

So that's Repro for £64.50, or Diva for a little bit more, or save on the full bundle...

Having picked up Repro, I think that cures my Bro-1 lust for now...

Just a public service announcement.

I'm sorely tempted by Diva ... and in response to my direct plea to them last week I just got a nice 50% off offer from Arturia on Pigments too.

Now I need to let the lust sink in a bit before inevitably buying them both tomorrow ;-)

Funny enough I was thinking of the Repro 1 the other day and meant to look up the price. I think a degree of head scratching and 'umm'ing and 'ahh'ing might ensue. Not really sure..

One thing to note is that the offer seems to finish at noon (europe timezone) on the 18th. Worth noting that.

I'm definitely sold on Diva - it sounds very good to my ears and I'll find it useful as it means I can work in the box conveniently, the idea being that certain parts can always be reproduced later with real hardware.

The modulation capabilities in Pigments look great and it's fun to use. I don't see any real need for it though. I also don't think it sounds as good as Diva on the analogue emulation side of things but the wavetable stuff in it looks interesting.

Though they are very different creatures, I may get Repro-1 instead of Pigments as a result. Hmm. Decisions...

I was going to post a new thread but the search came up with this one so....

I'm a complete noob to making music of any description, and just getting into making EDM - I wouldn't say it fits any particular sub-genre just yet! Everything is going to be software-based apart from my Nektar Impakt LX25.

I don't want to be spending loads on plugins etc. just yet but this u-He offer looks too good to pass up, so if I was to get just one synthesiser at the moment, should i get the Diva or Repro-1?

Not too concerned about complexity, learning the basics of synths on free plugins. Pc performance also not an issue for diva, I have a self-built top-end PC for my day job.
