I currently have an Apollo Twin mkII, and connect a Focusrite OctoPre MkII to it when I need more in-channels. When I do that I use the clock in the Octopre.
Now I am thinking of expanding to get more inputs, and have understood that you can use several interfaces from Universal audio at the same time, and are now considering buying an Apollo x8. But I wonder how it works with the clock/sync to the Octopre. Can I sync both the Apollo Twin and the Apollo x8 to my Octopre? Or do I need to use any Worldclock? And in that case, how do I do that, is it possible to sync the Apollo Twin to Worldclock, sens it has no worldclock input?
Does anyone know how this works?
I also wonder how to connect two thunderbolt interfaces. Can I connect the Apollo Twin to the Apollo x8, and the Apollo 8x into the computer, or must both interfaces be connected directly to the computer?
Thanks in advance!
