Looking for snare rattle/buzz!

Postby siderealxxx » Tue Feb 19, 2019 12:52 pm

Hi... this is the effect that most people spend hours trying to eliminate but I'm actually looking for the sound of a sustained snare rattling/buzzing. If I had one I'd just set it up in the room and play back a low frequency sine wave (20-40hz) and let it buzz whilst recording with an SM57. Then it's easy to filter the sine out and be left with the buzz. Does anyone by any chance have such a thing?!?!? THANKS!

The site is down at the moment, but the free Wavesfactory SnareBuzz plugin is what you need. Phil
