Focusrite ISA430 MkII

In Hugh's 2004 review of the ISA430 MkII he wrote that 'recording engineers now have a new British standard-bearer when it comes to high-end analogue recording channels'.

15 years on and a lot has changed but Focusrite are still making these. Is there another producer-style channel out there now which is better or as good as the 430 MkII?

I've just got a Tegeler VTRC.
Not had chance to use it in anger yet, but initial impressions are very very good...
