Moisture in bag of new Mackie mixer

Postby gcon45 » Fri May 22, 2020 6:21 pm

Hi everyone.

Just wanted some educated advice on a purchase I just made from gear4music.

I received a new Mackie 1402-VLZ4 mixer today and when I removed it from the box I noticed spots of moisture inside the sealed bag.

Has anyone come across this before?
I haven’t opened it as yet just in case I have to return it.

Could it be condensation?

Any help / advice is much appreciated.

Certainly not normal. I’d get in touch with G4M and arrange a return /replacement

And on the topic of returns ,Ive just benefited from their 2 year free warranty with my Apogee Jam , was right at the peak of the current crisis and required only one e-mail for collection and delivery of a new unit ; just over a week all done - very impressive .
