Oh me oh my....

... my 'go to' spoken word mic in the late '70s...

Being realistic I'm no longer in the market, but at that price for those who are it's a no-brainer...

Out of stock with Sennheiser. No one else seems to be selling them at that price.

oops, you're right. but it seems it's UK only.

in gear4 music (where I just got it), if you select UK price is 339 GBP, while selecting Spain it's 207 EUR...

I offer myself to buy them with a 10% special fee for SOS people

I don’t really see what the point of this month long offer is. It’s not possible to order the mic from Sennheiser themselves and all of the online stores linked to from the Sennheiser site have it at their usual price. Seems a bit like false advertising to me.

Shame there are none available for the price. Would have been an absolute no brainer

Report them to the ASA then...

It would be worth asking Sennheiser directly where this product can be obtained at the advertised price, I think I saw someone selling close to that price yesterday but don't remember where it was, I don't think it was from the UK.

I'm keeping an eye on this offer, and the conversation does help keep this topic high on the list as a reminder. But it is worth considering that it is still only the 3rd of the month and we are already in a weekend.

So I am going to be optimistic and hope that fresh stocks are due at Sennheiser and the dealers soon. Of course, there should have been planning to ensure reasonable stock levels right from the gun. But I think in current circumstances we can cut them a little slack in the supply chain.

The Sennheiser website does state, “ Up to 50% off, only while supplies last!” of course. However, for supplies to run out by 7:00 am on the second day of a month long offer does rather suggest that they had not really planned to sell very many at that price.

I’ve ordered from Thomann, anyway.

Possibly a question for John Willett, how closely matched are any two MD421s?
Apropos of nothing.
