Could someone kindly tell me how to upload a file please, very confusing..

The forum doesn't provide support file uploads I'm afraid.

If your file is an image, you can upload it to a 3rd party site such as imgur.com and then link to the image location in your post using the 'Img' tags.

If it's data such as a zip or audio file then any 3rd party location can be linked to using the 'url' tag (using a 'url' tag - see the toolbar above the textbox when making a post).

Some people use dropbox, others use google drive, and for audio Soundcloud is quite popular but any location that provides a public link should work.

Thanks for the instruction,

However when selecting copy link on the audio file in google drive and attempting to paist under the url tab, nothing happens.. what am i doing wrong ?

Not sure what you mean by 'paste' here but the simplest way is to paste the link into the post compose window and then select it with the mouse and click the URL tab.

Alternatively write some text such as
my document
select that text and click on the url tab and then after the first 'url' text you see add = and paste the link at that point.
Use preview to check that it has worked.

Actually, unless you want a different text for the URL, just pasting in the text makes the forum recognize it as such - anything that starts with http:// or https:// I suppose.. :)

I think you may be using 'share' rather than 'get a link'.
