hi everyone!
i'm planning to adapt a windshield that's a bit too long for my mic, like 1cm more or less.
i can't cut it more short cause i use it also on the mic is intended for, a shotgun one.
do you think it will create problems? th emic is asony emc-907 MS stereo mic and also i have the same plan with a sony ecm-xm1 shotgun mic.
these are old cheap mics i know(the xm1 not so cheap as a spare replacement i fear), but i had this idea not to buy more stuff and instead reusing sponges i already have sitting around!
