Is the acoustic too loose/

Hi
I'm just working a on a track and have been trying to create a more "freer" acoustic sound .
The acoustic guitar is mostly in the background apart from the intro.
When complete song will have a lead vocal and backing vocal.

Problem is, that I'm not sure if it sounds ok musically or if it is too 'off'

If anyone has a spare few minutes would be great to have another set of ears

I'm not sure what you mean by 'loose' in this context but I can hear what sounds like a discordant note or harmonic but sounding Bb. Was the acoustic recorded with a mic or using an onboard pickup?

I'm hearing a lot of timing errors that are a bit off-putting. The kick and bass are the most persistent. They need to lock in together.

The keyboard strings with the attack need to be played ahead of the beat to make them sound on time.

The worst of it a couple of stop/starts in there where nobody appears to be quite sure where to come in.

All easily fixed in a DAW, though.

Agreed, the timing in general is a bit sloppy, but I'm not sure I'd lay the blame specifically at the acoustic guitar.

Also the bass and the low end in general are a bit over-prominent in that rough mix, which can affect our perception of timing.

Decided to re do the acoustic as well.
Everything is already sounding much tighter.
