Note Frequency Chart (Download)

Postby siderealxxx » Mon Dec 03, 2018 11:32 am

Hoi hoi,

I just wanted to share a 'Note Frequency Chart' I made for mixing/mastering purposes as I thought people might find it useful.

I found similar files online were inadequate as they were poorly laid out and didn't allow you to quickly/easily see which note you wished to reference.

I added a column for pitch by MIDI number and coloured them according to the piano keys which is much clearer to me. They are formatted to 2 decimal places.

I hope it's useful to some people. You can download it here: ... -chart.jpg

Any errors please let me know. Also be aware that Roland/Yamaha/Cubase/Logic etc all use different variants of 'middle C' but this chart refers to the standard.

Your post reminded me of the Sound on Sound Frequency Chart available here

I should have the original poster versions somewhere.

Mine went AWOL in the studio refurb but spent it's life on the back of the door until then. Glad to have a new version
