Question about a Double-Duty Compressor - For Hugh Robjohns

Postby firstlegion » Fri Feb 15, 2019 1:29 am

Hugh,

Mixing and Mastering - performing double duty...which of these compressors are best on capabilities, sound quality, range, and versitility? I know you reviewed the first 2, not sure if you've heard the last: 1) Two Kush Tweakers; 2) Two Dave Hill Designs Titans; or 3) One Wave Distribution UBK Fastso?

Thanks!

I was very impressed with the Titan's quality, range and versatility, so I'd probably recommend that.

Thank you so much for answering so quickly. Very helpful.
No spam, just trying to make some decisions!

I need some advice on monitors as well. I have narrowed it down to Focal Alpha 80's, Eve Audio SC208's or HEDD Audio Type 07's. What' your opinon?

I'm afraid I don't have first-hand experience with any of those speakers, but two of them have been reviewed by my colleagues, along with the Alpha 65 variant of the Focal.
