Hi gilb8679, and welcome to the SOS Forums! 8-)

To combat the amount of spam that we get in our forums, the first five posts form anybody new are checked by our moderation team to make sure they are genuine (as yours is).

However, I've deleted the other two copies of this post you attempted elsewhere - please only post once with a specific query, as otherwise it can get very confusing for other forum users if several threads end up running on exactly the same topic.

Thanks!

Well, the usual procedure is to wait for someone to respond ;)

However, we have no idea which sound you are looking for... There are a number of them in the music you posted a link to so you'll need to be more specific about the particular sound you are after!

I had a weird time in Surrey once, but that was a drummer's fault.

I would have thought that by now you could have found it yourself as nobody else identified it. There are a lot of sounds in Analogue Lab but not that many than you couldn't have stepped through them since first posting!

By 'jazzy preset' do you mean the lead sound that is reminiscent of a trumpet?

Assuming so, I have Analogue Lab and will be booting up the DAW later today. I'll have a quick look through and see if I can identify it, though I can't guarantee I'll find it.

I don't have Analogue Lab 3 any more, as since installing Analogue Lab 5 it was replaced. However, searching through Analogue Lab 4, which I still have, I found a number of sounds which all seem similar.

I think the patch Black Brass (Synth: Moog Mini) is close, if not it. Another I found that sounded similar was Slew Brass (Prophet-5).

Probably not in Lab 3, but in Lab 4, Nile Jewel (Pigments) and Sound The Trumpet (CZ V) also sound very much along the same lines.

Really though, there are loads of brasses in there that sound similar enough with that amount of reverb on that you could use any of them quite effectively as opposed to finding the exact one you lost the reference to.

If you're determined to find the exact match then just step through all the brass sounds until you find it. In Lab 4 there are 318 in the brass category and it's quite a straightforward process. Not sure why you haven't done that already?

Bravo for all that effort Eddy!

Let's hope one of your suggestions is the missing preset.

Well, if it is one of those, and even if it isn't, when you do find it let us know :)

Cheers
