Mastering books/information

Postby delmariel » Tue Jun 25, 2019 5:16 pm

Hi All!

Can anyone recommend some good sources - books, youtube, etc - on mastering?

I've been recording and mixing bands for many years but have not really ventured into the realm of mastering. I'd like to learn how to do it. I am not looking for examples of mixes someone mastered. I am looking for the hows/whys/wheretofores of the process itself.

I do have Wavelab in my studio.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

There's plenty of info on this topic in Sound On Sound - try the "Mastering" search tag, for example:

I've found this to be a useful beginner's guide: ... way&sr=8-1
But as always I refer you to the words in my signature... ;)
