Can You review My Mix?

Postby Rokas108 » Mon Aug 12, 2019 12:31 am

Hello

I have posted here before about this mix but it was in its early stage. Now that i have done pretty much most of the work, could any of you great producers and musicians lend me your ears for one final time since I am almost ready to send this mix out there. What i am mainly worried about are the lead vocals and the bass. Since I don't have a sub bass speaker its hard to hear if the level is right for the bass track. The vocal track also seems fine on my speakers and headphones (both in Mono and stereo). However when my friend had listen to it on his head phones the main vocals seem to be mixed to low for him. None the less the vocal sounded fine for him when he listen to it on a mono speaker. So yeah that's pretty much it. Hope to hear any feedback because I am still new to producing and hope you enjoy the track it self.

Hi Rokas108!

I think you're really close now.

Personally I'd edge up the vocal level a tiny bit - perhaps 1dB - it's at a good level, but the rest of the song does dominate slightly, so I think the vocal can benefit from a slight push forward.

The bass is also close, but once again I'd be inclined to boost it very slightly.

Other than that, this track sounds great to my ears!
