KRK Rokit 5 level drops after power up

Hi. I have a pair of KRK Rokit 5 monitors. I have a problem with one, I power it up & i get sounds a the correct level for a second or two then the level drops to nothing & I am no longer able to get any sounds from it. Any idea what the problem may be & how to rectify it?

I have a pare of rocket 6’s and I do know that after a whiles if there is little or no audio coming through the speakers the shut off. Mabe it’s not loud enough? I know with me every time I go to the studio I have to “wake them up”.

I think you've probably realised by now that it's almost certainly a faulty unit. No sound at all to start with could be a cable or interfcace issue, but some sound then nothing indicates an internal problem, probably with the PSU.

All you can do is take it back to the dealer or contact the authorised repair specialist.
