Hi,
I heard this song and the vocal sounds smooth with too much-processing and I like it! the smooth come from the Auto-Tune? How can I get vocal like this?

(I think the vocals recorded with AKG C414)
Thanks!

Lots of automation and autotune I'd guess.

Re: How to get smooth vocals?
It's hard to known exactly what production FX have been used unless we can compare it to the vocal track before those effects were added.
Perhaps it was miced very close.
The sibilants dont sound very smooth to me.
The vocal sounds unnaturally bass heavy. That gives the impression of vocal smoothness but voice clarity could easily get lost with the words hard to understand. I would have gone for a more neutral vocal sound. Not as smooth perhaps but the words more clear for the listener.
