Hello, new to the forum so please let me if I'm posting in the wrong place or anything like that:)
I am currently working on a cover of wake me up before you go go - Wham!, and am trying to match the airy reverb in the lead vocals but currently am struggling to get close.
Appreciate any help - currently have a send from the lead vocal track into an FX bus with my reverb in.
Have access to FabFilter Pro-R, the Waves Abbey Road collection and waves H-Reverb, plus a few valhalla reverbs and obviously my stock DAW reverb.

I recall reading in a SOS article how George Michael's vocals were comped syllable by syllable and the vocal performance edited back together. That gives him a very unique super-human intense sound. Like it is always pressing, always pushing a little. The vocals really stick out and pop. Then those strong syllables come back in the reverb return too.
